Jaguar has the best looking car in the "3-Series Competitor" segment.
As well as my full attention.
Sorry ATS, my love has moved elsewhere.
I want one that looks just like that please.

Whh....aaat? You betrayed GM!!!
Kidding, it looks really nice.

If my garage consisted of one of these and a RR Sport I'd never look back at a GM car.
There, I said it.

ATS still wins because manual.

While I agree Jaguar looks better I have to see the ATS-V and it's Jag competitor before I make up my mind.

Doesn't bother me because I'd never buy a manual anyway.
Especially because the JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG has that ZF 8-speed that's apparently golden.

Until the ATS-V comes to reality, this is my choice.
Reliability be damned.

Its a Jag. Looking at their recent designs, no one should be surprised that its so good looking. The big question is "how does it drive?" Can't wait to see the comparisons.

I doubt it beats the golden boy 3-series in the driving department, but if it's close to as good, I'm sold.

It looks great, but you would think that with how much people like to bitch about Jag's last 3-Series fighter, they would've tried harder to make it not look anything like a Ford Fusion.

NEVER?
Manuals are the best

Yup, soooo similar.
How is it that every luxury car that has a big grille is compared to a $24k Ford? Is it the new "looks like an Accord Coupe" or something!?

I probably should've added "in a luxury car"

Well...

Just because Ford owned Jaguar until like 6 years ago?
Many moons have passed friend.

I wonder if I would pick this over a 3/C/ATS. I think so. It's the most unique thing in the compact executive class.

I know.
I personally don't even have a problem with the X-Type, but apparently a lot of people did.

Came here to say the same!

This is very very revealing! I understand, the car is absolutely gorgeous and aggressive. I have looked at a lot of posts about its "epic" launch. What happened? I am too embarrassed to ask to anyone else! I was in school for about 11 hours.

I didn't watch the reveal, but I read all the FP stories about it.
Sounds like a sly little cat.

I just watched it.
I, I dont know what to say. Its good they tried something different, but its WAAAY too cheesy.

Could've been the Miata reveal.

The Miata reveal was a missed opportunity.

Ouch. But yeah, I kind of get it.

Not entirely unrelated, your side by side highlights most of which is wrong with American cars. Look at that wheel well gap. Ugh.

Hate to break it to you, but an Accord or Passat has just as much gap.
